Lana Lubany
With sultry vocals, big beats and oscillating rhythm, UK-
based Palestinian and American artist Lana Lubany is
an alt-pop new comer yet already viral sensation. Now
based in London, Lana is the next generation of bilingual
artists (inspired by Rosalia and Kali Uchis). Her music
leads the way in bridging the gap between the West and
the Middle East, writing and singing in both English and
Arabic.
Lana Lubany has released her first full collection of
songs that form her concept project ‘THE HOLY LAND’;
an eight track EP that represents a personal and
creative exploration into a journey of self discovery.
Made with her close collaborator and producer Ben
Thomson, ‘THE HOLY LAND’ is out now on Beatnik
Creative. She was recently included in The Guardian’s Artists
to Watch in 2023, NME 100 and has received nods of
support from tastemakers such as Pitchfork, The
FADER, NYLON, Notion, DIY, CRACK, The Line of
Best Fit and Dummy. Lana has also just finished a
run of live dates across the UK & Europe as support
to Saint Levant, as well as playing The Great Escape
Festival. She will be performing her first London
headline show and at Pitchfork festival in Paris later
this year.
