Crooked Colours are an electronic trio from Australia, creating music that has one foot in the indie genre and one foot in a darker electronic realm. Comprising of Phil Slabber, Leon Debaughn and Liam Merret-Park, their sound has often been compared to a combination of English indie-rock foursome Alt J and US electronic duo Crystal Castles. To date the band has been dominating their Australian market playing at Parklife, Wonderland, St Jerome’s Laneway and Groovin The Moo Festivals. The band was asked to support RÜFÜS on their sold out ‘Atlas’ album tour in 2013 and then asked back on tour again with RÜFÜS for their Worlds Within Worlds Tour in 2014. Crooked Colours released their debut EP ‘In Your Bones’ through Sweat It Out Music in May this year featuring their hit track ‘Come Down’ which reached #1 on Hypem’s most popular charts and title track ‘In Your Bones’. The band has also just released the feature single ‘Capricious’ off their forthcoming sophomore EP which is set for release at the start of 2015.
